Valeri Malone brings two decades of experience to her clients and to the Loncar team. Her reputation as a hard-working, successful trial lawyer has earned her the respect of her peers and the trust of her clients.

Mrs. Malone received her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and her juris doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law. While in law school, Mrs. Malone was a member of the prestigious John Marshall National Moot Court Team and a National Semi-Finalist. She was selected for early admission to Texas Tech School of Law’s advocacy program, the Board of Barristers, in which she ranked first in her class. She was also the Chair of Appellate Advocacy for the Board of Barristers.

Currently, Mrs. Malone is licensed to practice in Texas State courts and Oklahoma State courts, as well as in Federal District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She has been granted admission to appear in cases, pro hac vice, across the Nation, from California to New York.

By Gubernatorial appointment, she served as Chair for the Texas Board of Manufactured Housing, on which she previously served as a member. She was also named as a Texas Super Lawyer, Rising Star in 2007, in 2008, and in 2009 by Thomson Reuters.

Prior to joining the Loncar team, Mrs. Malone spent several years representing families and victims of explosions involving catastrophic burn injuries. Mrs. Malone practices in the areas of personal injury, car wrecks, wrongful death, premise liability, defective products, oilfield accidents, and other accidents involving personal injury.

She and her attorney husband, Matt Malone, also part of the Loncar team, are proud Texas Tech graduates and proud members of the Lubbock, Texas community. Valeri and Matt Malone are fighters who get results for clients.
