Clay Jenkins provides vision and leadership for Loncar Lyon Jenkins. He believes that each client is important and deserves to have their case handled respectfully and successfully. At Loncar Lyon Jenkins, Clay and his partners use the Golden Rule as a guiding principle: they treat every client the way they would want to be treated.

An accomplished trial lawyer, Clay Jenkins started his personal injury practice in 1989 after clerking for the Texas Supreme Court. He co-counseled some of Brian Loncar’s biggest cases for 25 years before purchasing an interest in the firm. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Advocates for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and previously served as President of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.

Clay Jenkins was nominated for Dallas Morning News’ Texan of the Year by Sen. Leticia Van de Puente for his work helping unaccompanied, undocumented minors on the Texas border.

He received the Luz Award from the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, which presented to the single member of the bar who had the most significant impact on the Latino community.

Clay’s leadership of the successful response to America’s first Ebola outbreak was chronicled in Vanity Fair, the NYT, and Time Magazine.

He has appeared as an authority on many nationally-broadcast news programs and networks, including ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Fox and Friends, MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, CBS, NBC, and many others.
